The Local Craft Flavors of Boise

As one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S., Boise's vibrant food and beverage scene is booming just as fast. While there are many, many things that we all love about living in Treasure Valley, today we’re going to highlight some of our favorite local craft beverage joints in Boise.

Whether you’re looking for a classic cup of joe or a pint of brew that doesn’t disappoint, there’s no shortage of coffee shops and breweries in this town. So if you’re new to the area, visiting from out of town, or just looking for something new, here are some spots to check out!

Form and Function

This newer hotspot coffee shop started off at the Boise Farmer’s Market. With a lovely, bright ambiance, coffee drinkers can enjoy high quality roasting and espresso drinks, made by skilled and passionate baristas. They even have a coffee flight if you can’t decide on just one drink!

From farm to cup, Form and Function believes in sourcing sustainable products and makes an effort to ensure the entire supply chain is taken care of throughout the entire process.

Barbarian Brewing

If you’re into “Old World Style With New World Flavor,” this original Boise barrel house is your spot! At Barbarian Brewing’s Boise Downtown Taproom and Garden City Brewery, you’ll find complex, artisan ales and lagers that blend new world flavors with old world traditions. 

There’s no doubt that the brewers at Barbarian are masters of their craft and we highly recommend trying some of their deliciously quenching sour beers!

Caffeina Coffee Roasting Company

Get the best of both worlds at Caffeina. This northwest-inspired craft brew bar has brilliantly blended the craft coffee scene with the craft beer scene.

The hotspot Boise roaster sources all of their beans from small farms, and all of their beans are certified organic and fair trade. In addition to their delicious and sustainable coffee and beer, they brew their own kombucha and you can also enjoy wine, smoothies, and so much more. Plus we just love the industrial vibe!
